Tour Plan
Our tour will start from Modena’s city centre, first admiring the outside of the Cathedral with its marvellous reliefs and magnificent doors. It is possible to visit the interior subject to opening times and services. We’ll also see the impressive Ghirlandina bell Tower and the beating heart of the Modena – the Piazza Grande, the economic, political and social centre of the city.
From here we’ll continue to the Albinelli market (considered the most beautiful in Italy)
then the historical synagogue and Piazza Roma with the Este family’s Ducal Palace – now the seat of a Military Academy. During the tour there is also the possibility to visit the oldest Delicatessen in Europe – the Salumeria Giusti was founded in 1605 – and of course we will have time for tasting Black Gold , the traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
