Tour Plan
The tour starts with Palazzo della Pilotta, built in the 16th century, as a court service building annexed to the Ducal Palace. Entering in the Farnese theatre, a stunning wooden theatre where the first-ever revolving stages were installed, you will get amazed !
Piazza Duomo, one of the most beautiful and impressive in Italy : the cathedral, the Bishop’s Palace, and the gorgeous Baptistery that dates back to the 12th Century. A visit inside in the Baptistery is a must! But not only! We can also visit the inside of the Cathedral and of the Church of St John for admiring Correggio and Parmigianino masterpieces.
Do not forget, please, Parma “Golosa” !! I will give you so many indications for tasting the traditional food and buy the famous Parmesan Cheese.
